Obama’s Plan to Spur Small Business Lending

We have received several calls at the Southwestern College SBDITC in National City regarding a stimulus plan for small businesses. There is no federal bailout for small business owners like those of General Motors or AIG. But we are pleased to announce that, in an effort to boost lending to the nation’s struggling small businesses, President Obama announced a plan yesterday that aims to get credit flowing again to entrepreneurs and business owners.  

New Way to Find Government Resources

Here at the SBDC, we know that government resources can be hard to find. We are constantly trying to get the word out about our program. The number one way clients find out about the Small Business Development Center is through word of mouth. But now the SBA is initiating several outreach efforts to change that.
